Traditional Music and Dance

    The Maasai people have many cultural traditions that involve music and dance. The people will have ceremonies marriage that involve music and dance. For music, one of the instruments that they use is called a kudu horn. This is an instrument that one must blow through and it is only used on special occasions.

Other than the kudu horn, no other instruments are used. There music all comes from the voice. Maasai people will sing and dance the most when it rains. The two main ceremonies that involve singing and dancing is circumcision and marriage.
