Maasai Cultural Survival

The Maasai people survive by raising and herding cattle. That is their tradition and it is very important to them. Now, they heard other animals like cows and sheep which is less traditional. They grow vegetation like corn also. The traditional culture is to survive only with cattle. The cause of that is the loss of land needed for water and grazing.
The Maasai people live simple lives and do not need much to survive. In order to save this culture, people need to stop taking away their land. There lives are so simple there is no need to make it harder for them. There are areas for national parks to save the wild life, but not the people.
There is a lot of tourism in this area, but it does not help the Maasai. The parks take away drinking water, they have no health care, and there is little education. The Maasai people are going to keep having difficulty sustaining their way of life, like I said in the previous blogs.
